New Members - Last Sunday we welcomed Carla and Tim Broderick as new members at Newark Naz.  Welcome to the family!

This summer, Let’s Play isn’t just about fun—it’s about formation. God made us for joy, connection, and celebration, and we're leaning into that truth as a whole church family. Whether you're 5 or 85, there's a place for you in this season of playful fellowship and meaningful moments. A calendar of our summer activities and events is attached; print it out for your refrigerator or pick one up at the Welcome Desk on Sunday. Join us as we discover how laughter, games, and shared experiences can shape us into a people of joy and love.

Let's Play: Popsicles on the Porch - Who doesn't love a popsicle on a hot summer day? Every Wednesday, starting June 18, we will be serving Popsicles on the Porch. Drop in for a frozen treat and fun on the Williams Street front porch at 6:30 PM. It doesn't matter if you are a kid or a kid-at-heart, everyone is welcome.

Let's Play: Pickleball - All 7th-12th Graders and Young Adults are welcome to join us at the pickleball courts at Denison University starting next Thursday, June 12, at 6:30 PM. If you have pickleball equipment, please bring it with you.

Let's Play: Heath Pool - Let's Play at the Heath Pool on Friday, June 20 from 3:00-7:00 PM. The whole family is welcome to join us or you can drop off your children and teens. The summer Snack & Craft will be held on Tuesday, June 24, 2025 from 6:00 - 9:00 PM in the Williams Street fellowship hall. We will have a special craft project that Angie Lee is going to lead and she will provide all of the supplies. If you would like to make the special craft project, the cost is $5.00 per person. Please RSVP for this event by calling or texting Pam Roberts at at 740-504-7351 so we will be sure to have enough supplies. The other alternative for the evening will be needle work (knitting, crocheting, embroidery, etc.). Bring whatever project you’re working on, and come spend some time together with friends! Please bring a snack to share with the group.

Teen Camp is June 23 - 26 at Higher Ground Retreat Center in West Harrison, IN. This year’s theme is “Echoes of Eden” -- a call to rediscover the joy, purpose, and connection we were created for. The cost is $225 and the registration deadline is June 8. Teen Camp is for students who have completed 6th - 12th grade and registration must be completed online through this link. Payment for camp can be made online during registration or checks can be made out to Newark Naz. If you have any questions, please contact Pastor Christina at christina@newarknaz.org.

They will have the opportunity to fish, climb a rock wall, play in the lake, go down a slime slip-n-slide, and experience God’s beautiful creation, while building friendships with other kids. All children who have completed 1st grade - 6th grade are welcome to attend our District Kid’s Camp at Camp Cotubic in Bellefontaine, OH:
